ACTS 4 MINISTRIES is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization supported by hundreds of volunteers in the City of Martinsville and Henry County, Virginia. Our volunteers have replaced leaking roofs, repaired HVAC systems, renovated bathrooms to make them handicap accessible, and replaced windows to improve heating/cooling efficiency. We have cleaned homes for shut-ins and disabled individuals, moved widows and individuals with terminal illnesses, distributed food and gifts to families in need at Christmas, and provided transitional housing for single mothers and their dependent children

We have no paid Directors, Officers or Board Members and are able to utilize all donations, whether they be monetary or not, to affect change in lives of families who are in need of a helping hand in these troubled times.

We commit to help others regardless of what economic conditions may exist because we trust in the One who owns “...the cattle on a thousand hills.” Psalm 50:10 (NLT)

After 5 years of seeking the Lord for a way to become involved in ministry, ACTS 4 MINISTRIES was birthed in the heart of Ron Harris in September of 2006.

Desperately wanting to make a difference in the lives of others, Ron was shown that by ministering to the physical needs of hurting individuals, people would see, first hand, the love of Christ.

ACTS 4 MINISTRIES stands on the words spoken by Jesus in John 13:34-35 where He states “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” (NLT)
